Marilyn Joan Bafaro, (née Rebholz), was baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection, Sunday, August 11, 2019. Born September 8, 1927, she grew up in south St. Louis. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Paul (Ernie) Bafaro; dear mother of Nancy (Tim) Kennedy, Tami Bafaro (Ken Heck), and James (Jayne) Bafaro. Dear grandmother to Timothy (Erin) Kennedy, Scott (Meagan) Kennedy, Jeannie (Humberto) Caro, Michael Juleskusky (fiancé Alexandra Rowe), Patrick Juleskusky, Judy Bafaro (Kenny Breit), and Brian (Shannon) Bafaro. Sweet great-grandmother to Reid Kennedy, Marlo Kennedy, Dominic Bafaro and baby Caro. Daughter of the late Frank and Loretta (Faust) Rebholz. Dear sister to Ruth (John) Stadelman, the late Frank (Pat) Rebholz, and the late Rosemary (Ken) Kreinheder.

Dearest aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, friend. Marilyn loved music and loved to tap dance and line dance. She encouraged the piano and ballet. Her family was her life. She sewed quilts and blankets, made ceramics, and briefly worked for the St. Louis City Board of Elections and the Archdiocese of St. Louis. She believed in God and Country. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Shriners Hospitals for Children – St. Louis.

Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Friday August 16 from 10:00 am until Funeral Service time at 11:30 am. Interment at J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to Shriners Hospital for Children St. Louis or St. Jude Children’s Hospital appreciated.
