On the evening of July 6, 2019, Dudley Gale Hancock loving husband and father passed away at the age of 76.

Dudley Gale was born on November 13, 1942 in Coon Island, Missouri to Dudley Scott and Adyline (Clubbs) Hancock. He worked for over 46 years at General Motors, and later served the St. Louis Cardinals through the Green Team. On July 5, 1962, he married Betty Lou (Goodrich). They raised one daughter Tammi Hancock.

Dudley Gale had a passion for life especially, fishing, baseball, and his family. He also loved to take long walks, always had a smile, and an affinity for dogs. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend of all who knew him.
Dudley Gale was preceded in death by his father, Dudley Scott Hancock, and his mother, Adyline Clubbs Hancock. He is survived by his wife Betty, his daughter Tammi, his brothers Richard, Monroe, George, Gene, and Raymond. He was a beloved brother-in-law to Calvin Goodrich, Dewayne Goodrich, Sue Mitchell, Steve Goodrich, Sandi Brewer, and Kim Goodrich. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Kutis Funeral Home at 2906 Gravois St. Louis, MO from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Flowers or donations may be sent to Kutis Funeral Home. A graveside service and burial will take place at Liberty Church of Christ Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas.
