In Loving Memory

Jensen, Andrew D.

Andrew Darrell Jensen was born on 12/27/1995 in Hutchinson, MN to Roger and Debra Jensen.  Passed away in St. Louis, MO on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the age of 23.

Andy was a selfless individual with charm that could light up the room.  His ability to bring people together was unmatched.  He loved animals and enjoyed spending his time with his friends, playing sports, cards, games, and anything that could share his competitive nature and bring enjoyment to the people around him.

Andy graduated from Lutheran South in 2014, and enlisted in the US Army Infantry that fall.  While serving, his leadership qualities led him to joining the 101st Airborne Division.  He served two tours overseas and befriended many soldiers that became a second family to him.

Andy is survived by his father, Roger Jensen (Barbara), sister, Taylor Siebert (Bobby), nephew, Finn, grandmother, Sally Erickson, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a brotherhood of lifelong friends.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Debra Jensen, brother, Zachary Jensen, and grandparents, Gene and Sonja Arnall, Darrell Jensen, and Charles Erickson.

Andy’s confidence was enough for the rest of us, and his fearlessness was something to be admired.  He will live on in the hearts of everyone he encountered and he will be deeply missed.

Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton, Thursday, June 6, 6-8 p.m. then taken to Ascension Lutheran Church on Friday for visitation 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m.
