Passed away Saturday May 25, 2019
Beloved husband to Kathy (nee Dodson); Dear Father of Corey and Courtney; He was preceded in death by his parents William J Kersting and Delores A (nee Westermayer); Brother of Bill (Chris) and David (Dot); Dear son-in-law of the late Jack M and Jerri Smith; Brother-in-law of Jeff Dodson and Kim Dodson; Loving uncle, cousin, and a true and dedicated friend to so many.
Paul will be remebered as a hard working husband and father who began working at Rigazzi’s restaurant on the hill as a young teenager. He remained a fixture at the restaurant for over 38 years as the assistant manager and head waiter until his unexpected passing. He loved his children, his wife, and his four-legged friends very much. He was a number one fan of the St. louis Blues and Pink Floyd. He was an avid sports fan, a wannabe golfer, and a great ping pong player who loved to have fun at family parties and holidays.
Paul’s wishes were to donate his organs to save the lives of others. As of today, 2 people are alive with Paul’s kidneys, keeping his spirit of helping others still going strong.
