After the war, Norm soon began what would become a lifelong career in car sales. During that time, he received several awards for being one of the best car salesmen in the country.  Norm retired from Dave Sinclair Ford after many successful years in the car business.

Norm was a member and one-time president of the Hampton Lions Club. He faithfully organized many of the Lions Club’s golf tournaments, winning some of those tournaments.

During his grade school years, Norm learned the game of golf while caddying at the Forest Park Golf Course. Those years became the foundation for a lifelong passion for the game of golf.  A very accomplished golfer, he participated in the Senior Olympics , winning several medals .

If you were Norm’s friend, you knew that he really enjoyed talking to people and socializing with friends, especially the late Jack Wilson.
