Jackson, Dannie L.

Jackson, Dannie L.  (Woodeye) of St. Clair, Mo born in St. Louis, Mo on  August 1, 1943 went to be with the Lord in peace on December 13, 2018. Dannie was a very active member of the St. Clair, Mo. Community including the Elks, VFW, and American Legions organizations. Dannie served in the Army from 1961 to 1964 and we are very thankful for his service to our country. Dannie was very well known for his outstanding baking abilities and was famous for his chocolate covered strawberries and Jello treats. He knew no strangers, was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

Dannie is survived by daughter Diana Daniels (nee Jackson), son Dave Jackson, sister Kim Jackson, grand daughters Jessica Daniels, Casey Daniels, Ashley Jackson, Ellie Jackson, and great grand daughter Jayden Hartwick.   Our dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Services are being held at Kutis Funeral Home Tuesday,  December 18, 10:30 a.m. Interment  J.B. National Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. The family will be hosting a celebration of Dannie’s life after the holidays.
