Marnati, Charles M. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Thursday, November 8, 2018.    

Beloved  husband of Denise M. Marnati (nee Kerry); dearest son of the late Angelo and Pierina Marnati; dear brother of Louis (Margaret) Marnati, Angela  Marnati and the late Mary Ann (the late Vito)  Polizzi; special nephew of the late Mary  Cucchetti; dear son-in-law of the late Joseph and  Eleanor  Kerry; our dear brother-in-law, and  cherished uncle, great-uncle and cousin.

Charlie served in the USMC during Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart. He retired as a detective from the City of St. Louis Police Department. Charlie then became employed at JS Alberici. He then ran for, and won, the office of business  manager for the Ironworkers Local 518. Charlie loved to  surround himself with family and friends. He had a unique gift to touch the heart of everyone he met. Masses preferred or  contributions to ALS Association, Hill 2000 Sick and Elderly  Program or Wellspring Journey appreciated. A most sincere and heartfelt thanks to Angie Marnati, Joe Polizzi, Mike Polizzi, Yvonne Johnson, Mike Mason and Angelo Marnati.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd., Wednesday, November 14, 9 a.m. to St. Ambrose  Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery.   Visitation Tuesday, 4-9 p.m.
