After 69 years of life, Norma Kay Sutterer (Clarke) was granted her Angel wings on December 6th, 2017, surrounded by her sons and their wives at St. Anthony’s Medical Center, St Louis, MO.
Norma Kay’s life is one of spunk and undefinable character; while a pistol to those who crossed onto her bad side, a loving and lifelong friend to those she held most dear to her heart. There was little she would not do for her friends and family and often sacrificed herself to bring a smile to someone’s face. The size of her heart far superseded her stature and her story will continue on long past her lifetime.
It is rare that someone touches someone’s life to a degree that actually leaves behind a mark, Norma Kay is that person. Anyone who was blessed enough to know this remarkable woman will never be the same.
She is survived by her sons, John (Mariann) and Paul (Angela) Klemme. Her grandchildren Bryan, John (Jack), Kaitlyn, Cheyenne, Anthony (AJ), Piper, Gianna, and Avery Klemme. As well as her sister, Ava.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, her son, John Patrick Jr., her mother, Gleetha (Wells), and father, Buford Sr. (Clarke), as well as her brothers, Rowland, Charles, Larry (Coulson), and Darrel, and her sister, Vera.
Arrangements for her memorial and celebration of life will be held at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd on Saturday, December 16, 3 p.m.
