102, Baptized into the hope of Christ Resurrection Sunday, December 3, 2017. She was the daughter of Thomas and Christine Eatherton of Chesterfield, MO. Helen left the family farm at the age of 16 to attend Miss Hickey’s Business School in St. Louis  (fibbing about her age). In 1980 she retired as Executive  Secretary for the St. Louis  County Dept. of Parks and Recreation. Her  integrity, strong work ethic and lovely sense of humor will be remembered by all. We know  Helen’s next chapter will include naughty beagles,  wildflower gardens and lots of pastry – always with a fresh cup of coffee.

Among those who loved her and will miss her dearly are her children; Mary (William) Hayden, Patricia (Vince) Misuraca, Ruth (the late Eugene) Cincotta and Joseph T. (Jane) Cahan; grand-children Christine (Craig) Robinson, Kathy (John) Drier, Bryan (Kelli) Stabile, Vincent (Jan), Steven (Laura), Ann, Paula (Ryan), John, Molly (Lon) Misuraca, Joshua (Jenny), Matthew, and Patrick (Moira) Cahan; 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is  survived by her sister Martha (Don) Kummer; She was preceded in death by husbands Joseph D. Cahan and James J. Sweeney, and brothers Fred, Thomas, Linley and Herbert Eatherton,and sister Ruth McRae.

Services: Visitation at Annunciation Catholic Church, 12 W. Glendale Rd., Webster Groves, MO on Thursday, December 7, from 9:30 a.m. till Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Paul Churchyard.
